Des Peres Hospital Welcomes New Chief Nursing Officer and New Chief Human Resources Officer

Des Peres Hospital today announced two new members of the hospital’s administrative team. Mary Ann Hampton, RN, MSN, has joined as chief nursing officer (CN0), responsible for the financial management and clinical operations of all nursing units. Kathaleen Clutts has joined as chief human resources officer. Both report to John Grah, chief executive officer.
 
“Mary Ann and Kathaleen bring strong organizational and leadership skills to their new roles with this hospital,” said Grah. “We look forward to their contributions in their respective areas of areas of clinical operations and human resource management to help us continue to deliver the quality, personal care our physicians, our patients and their families expect."

Ms. Hampton has more than thirty years of nursing management experience in hospital, clinic, outpatient and clinical education. Her areas of focus have included medical-surgical services, skilled nursing services, inpatient and outpatient endoscopy services, rehabilitation services and both inpatient and outpatient mental health services.  She previously worked for Tenet Healthcare.

Ms. Hampton holds a nursing degree from Jewish Hospital of St. Louis, a BSN from Maryville University and an MSN from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. She is a licensed registered nurse.

Ms. Clutts has more than 11 years of experience in human resources, moving up the ranks from benefits representative, HR generalist, compensation and benefits coordinator and Human Resources Director.  She previously worked for Tenet Healthcare.

Ms. Clutts earned a bachelor of arts in Russian and Eastern Studies from the University of Kentucky and a masters in International Relations and Political Economics from the Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce.
