The annual Downtown Kirkwood Festival of Food & Flowers is Saturday, and we got all the details for your planning purposes!

Flowers Upon Flowers, Tips and Tricks
During the festival, there will be a variety of food and flowers throughout the area. Numerous businesses participating in in the festival will give 6-packs of annual flowers (while supplies last) to customers spending $5 or more.
In addition to the annual flower gift-with-purchase, participating businesses will also serve refreshments, offer discounts on selected merchandise or offer other in-store specials or demonstrations.
Not-to-be-Missed Cuisine
Kirkwood Farmers’ Market will feature hundreds of flowering plants, locally grown produce, cheese, delicious treats, barbeque, Philippine cuisine and more. Visitors can also enjoy delicious fare from the collection of unique restaurants and specialty food merchants located throughout downtown Kirkwood.
Plant Sale, Experts On-Hand
A plant sale will be located at the Kirkwood Train Station. Local gardening experts from Kirkwood Garden Club will be on hand to sell their plants and answer your gardening questions. A few blocks west of the historic train station, at 302 W. Argonne, Kirkwood Historical Society will sell glass, antiques, collectibles and more at the Mudd’s Grove Yard Sale from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Art Sale, Local Style
During the festival, numerous artists will show and sell their work at Artists in Bloom on the public plaza at Kirkwood Station Plaza from 10 a.m. to 5 pm. You can preview the artists’ work on the Meet the Artists webpage on the Downtown Kirkwood website.
Live Music, Jam Out
Don’t miss live music from the Maple Jam Band and the YoAngelos from the performance platform at Station Plaza and a performance by the Lucille Rapp Dancers at 1 p.m.
Kiddie Corner
Representatives from The Magic House will be on the plaza from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to help children of all ages make “fun glasses”. At the Kirkwood Train Station, visitors can enter to win round-trip train tickets on Amtrak’s Missouri River Runner.
The Festival of Food & Flowers is coordinated by Downtown Kirkwood Special Business District with support from Café Manila and Amtrak’s Missouri River Runner.
