Ten Year Old Kirkwood Girl Sold Lemonade to Help Cure Her Diabetes

Raina Foley, diagnosed with T1D (type 1 insulin-dependent diabetes) five years ago at the age of five recently spent a sunny Saturday afternoon raising $25 in 30 minutes selling pink lemonade in front of her Kirkwood home.  Raina also hosts a carwash every June to raise money for JDRF – Improving Lives. Curing Type 1 Diabetes.  JDRF is the global leader in funding the research to treat, cure and prevent diabetes.
