19-Year-Old Woman From Kirkwood Killed in Wrong-Way Crash
Emily N. Ferguson, a sophomore at Mizzou and 2011 graduate of Kirkwood High School, died Friday while driving the wrong way on Interstate 70.

A University of Missouri-Columbia sophomore and 2011 graduate of Kirkwood High School, died Friday in a head-on collision while driving the wrong way on Interstate 70, according to news reports. The Kirkwood Call reported Saturday that Ferguson was a 2011 graduate of KHS.
Emily N. Ferguson, 19, of Kirkwood, died at the scene of the crash that happened at 3:17 a.m. near Kingdom City, MO, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. Ferguson was driving west in the eastbound lanes of I-70 and struck a box truck, according to the Post.
The Post reports that the driver of the box truck was taken to a local hospital and is in fair condition. Ferguson was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, the Post reports.
