Addressing Flood Damage in Kirkwood Turns Boy Into Eagle

Kirkwood High School 2012 graduate Kyle Kierstead coordinated replacing two rotted and flood damaged dugouts at the Kirkwood Athletic Association, which earned him the rank of Eagle Scout.

Kirkwood High School 2012 graduate, Kyle Kierstead, earned Eagle Rank and was presented with the Eagle Court of Honor Award on July 22 at the Kirkwood Train Station. Kierstead is a member of Boy Scout Troop 981 from Westchester School and is Troop 981's 99th Eagle Scout. 

Kierstead’s Eagle Scout Leadership Project was coordinating replacement of two rotted and flood damaged dugouts at Kirkwood Athletic Association in Kirkwood.

Kierstead attended Robinson Elementary School and Nipher Middle School. He plans on attending St. Louis Community College at Meramec this fall, studying business with a focus on accounting with an eventual transfer to Mizzou.
