Officers on patrol located a one vehicle accident near the intersection of Leffingwell and Holmes avenues. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a guardrail. Routine computer checks on the driver revealed he had a suspended driver’s license through the State of Missouri. He also had at least 20 outstanding warrants through three St. Louis area police departments. He was arrested and held for transfer to those agencies.

Wednesday, Sept. 5

At 8:15 a.m., police received a report of a fraud that occurred at a retail business in the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road. The reporting party was an employee of a business in Pittsburgh, PA. A debit card for the business was cloned and used at the retail store in Kirkwood Sept. 4.

I would imagine a very concerted effort of not showing up to hearings and lost bail money along the way. But, the Kirkwood Police Department doesn't regularly provide names of arrestees in its crime logs, so the exact warrants are uncertain.
