Senate Hopeful John Brunner to Visit Kaldi's
The Frontenac businessman and ex-Marine is making a campaign stop in Kirkwood Monday.
Voters will get the chance to meet Republican U.S. Senate candidate John Brunner Monday morning at Kaldi's Coffee House in Kirkwood.
Brunner will hold a meet and greet at the coffee shop from 8:30-9:30 a.m., where voters will have a chance to talk with the candidate and learn about his run for office.
The visit follows the last debate between republican candidates vying for the GOP nomination before the Aug. 7 primary election.
Brunner is running against U.S. Representative Todd Akin (R-Wildwood) and former State Treasurer Sarah Steelman.
The Aug. 7 election will determine which candidate takes on U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill in November.
