Mom told me the sad news last night. Such a wonderful place for young children. The Craft Caboose will be missed by many, said one commentor.
So sad to hear this news.... Loved bringing our Great Niece to your shop when I am in St Louis...and she treasures her projects...and the time we spent with you...and she just said this week that she wanted to go again...Such a "special" shop and all your "special" attention and kindness made our visits..."special" memories... Thank you...and Good Luck to you...
So far the post has accrued 26 comments, all expressing dissapointment at the store's closing and wishing staff well.
Sharon Crnko, a retired teacher and longtime Kirkwood resident, opened the kids craft studio last month to give families with small children a place to create art together without spending a lot of money or worrying about the cleanup, as previously reported by Patch in a profile of the business shortly after it opened in April of 2011.
Kirkwood Patch has a call into Craft Caboose to learn more about the closing.
