Update: Kirkwood Shooting Leads to Felony Charges

Two men face felony charges in connection with an exchange of gunfire July 12 on Andrews Avenue that involved a moving vehicle.

Two men were charged Thursday in connection with a Kirkwood shooting near the St. Louis Community College-Meramec Campus Tuesday.

The St. Louis Prosecuting Attorney's Office issued a felony warrant against Darron Wiley, 19, of Kirkwood, for shooting at a moving vehicle, and a felony warrant against Brandon Langston, 20, of St. Louis City, for shooting from a moving vehicle, Kirkwood police said in a statement.

An exchange of gunfire occurred in the 500 block of Andrews Avenue at about 10:08 p.m. Police discovered several shots had been fired at a residence in the 500 block of Andrews Avenue from a moving vehicle. Witnesses reported a dark-colored vehicle leaving the area, according to police.

Kirkwood police arrested Wiley and Langston and recovered the vehicle involved in the incident. Both men are being held in the St. Louis County Jail on $25,000 bond.

Both the home and the vehicle used during the shooting sustained damage from gunfire, according to police. No one was struck during the exchange and no injuries were reported, police add.
