Live Broadcast Tonight of Kirkwood School Board Candidates Forum

Candidates will discuss issues tonight at North Kirkwood Middle. Watch the forum live through Patch.

Tonight, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., candidates running for the Kirkwood School Board will meet with residents in a forum moderated by representatives from the League of Women Voters. The event will take place at the cafeteria of North Kirkwood Middle.

Two seats of the Kirkwood School Board will be decided at the April 3 municipal election. The two board members whose terms expire this year are John Glunt and Andy Stewart. Glunt is not seeking re-election.

The candidates vying for the open seats are incumbent Andy Stewart, Scott Anderson and Sara King. In February, candidate Hamid R. Hamrah announced that he was withdrawing his candidacy from the school board. His name, however, will appear on the ballot.
