Molly is a 9-year-old St. Bernard mix who lives with Maplewood-Brentwood Patch editor Ryan Martin. She loves to smile when she's given a bone treat.
Annabel is our 1-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer/Lab mix who is completely unaware of her large dog build as you can see from this picture of her posing on the top of our couch.
Bridger, an almost 1-year-old lab mix, likes to hang out at the top of the stairs.

According to Veterinary Pet Insurance Co (VPI) and Petfinder.com, a roundup of the most popular dog names in 2011 showed no change over the previous year.

Bella, Bailey, Max, Lucy and Molly were the top 5 most popular dog names. Rounding out the top 10 are Buddy, Daisy, Maggie, Charlie and Sophie.

What's your dog's name? Take our poll, and if it's not on there, add it in the comments. And while you are here, upload a photo of your pet.

Annabel. My wife and I were at convenience store/deli on our anniversary, and the owner asked us if we needed a dog. We went behind the store and took a look at the pup and just couldn't say no. We named her Annabel since we got her on our anniversary and we were married in Anna, IL.

Frazier and Daphne named from the hit TV comedy "Frasier." I also have a cat named Niles, who like the show's character is a bit pretentious and arrogant. Yes, it's a three-ring circus around here!

Our cockapoo is named Kirby. My husband will say it is after Kirby Puckett, but it was really our daughter who named him.

our black lab is named maggie. Wanted to name her Rolen after the 3rd baseman
but "he" ended up being a "she" and Maggie was the most popular name the year we got her. Not very scientific but shows you these polls have influence!

Our yellow Lab is Cheyenne. She gets along nicely with our black cat, Wyoming.

Juno is a terrier mix's name. She has the most beautiful chocolate coat, and is a spoiled brat. But we love her.
