STOP Mobil Signs 'Go Pro' Before Public Hearing

Professionally printed signs have popped up on Kirkwood lawns as part of a citizen effort to oppose the expansion of the Mobil gas station at Manchester and North Geyer roads.

Residents along North Geyer Road and Simmons Avenue have purchased professional signs for their yards as they continue in their organized efforts to oppose the proposed Mobil gas station expansion on Manchester Road.

The Kirkwood Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing on a variance needed for construction Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. in Kirkwood City Hall Council Chambers.

Wallis Companies is seeking a variance from the Board of Adjustment because proposed construction to the Mobil gas station will not conform to Manchester and North Geyer road front yard setback requirements of the Kirkwood Zoning Code.
