The Trainwreck Saloon in Rock Hill is the winner in this week's Food Fight, in which we asked readers for their choice for the best spot for fried chicken in Mid-County.

The restaurant won with 36 percent of the vote among the finalists in the competition. This is the second Readers' Choice award Trainwreck has won this year. In February, it nabbed the best spot for fries in Mid-County.

Here's how our other three nominees fared in our fried chicken Food Fight:

• Porter's Fried Chicken in Maplewood — 32 percent;
• The Piccadilly at Manhattan in Maplewood — 25 percent;
• Big Bear Grill in Warson Woods — 5 percent.
