Vianney Academics Ranked Top 50 of Catholic Schools in U.S.
The Catholic High School Honor Roll recognized the Kirkwood school for academic excellence.
St. John Vianney High School's academic program has earned the Kirkwood school a place among the nation's top Catholic high schools.
The Catholic High School Honor Roll recently named Vianney's academic program as one of the top 50 in the country. There are 1,205 Catholic high schools in U.S.
Created in 2004, the Catholic High School Honor Roll assesses Catholic high schools in the areas of academics, Catholic identity and civic engagement.
In an announcement about the ranking, Vianney says the following:
Vianney offers an unusual academic program known as the intensive four-by-four block schedule. Students take four classes per semester, attend each class every day, and cover a year's worth of content in one semester. There are no study halls, and Vianney students graduate with 32 credits, among the highest in the Midwest.
