Meet Lola Lola is an adult hound mix dog available for adoption through the St. Louis Senior Dog Project. Lola was dumped out in the country and fortunately she has made her way in to a foster home. She is glad to be in a safe place and eagerly awaits for a second chance at a home of her own. Lola is not only cute but also super sweet! She is very fun loving and enjoys spending time with humans of all kinds. She is about three years old and she would enjoy being part of a family that has some high to moderate activity. Katy is a black lab available for adoption through the St. Louis Senior Dog Project. This lovely lady was at the Jefferson County Animal Control and she couldn't be happier to be now in a foster home awaiting for her forever home! Katy as any other lab is super friendly and very in to her walks. She would love a family with moderate to high activity that would engage her in playtime and walks! Meet Doc Doc is a handsome, 10-year-old Cockapoo who is calm, quiet and well behaved. Doc sleeps quietly all night on a dog bed in the bedroom.  He is potty trained when he lives with someone who is home all day and can let him outside when needed.  Doc would do best in a forever home where he is the only dog or with one other dog.  He does enjoy his daily walks.  He was previously overweight and has lost about ten pounds due to reduced amount of food and daily walks.  Doc enjoys belly rubs, attention, tail wagging and giving kisses!  Doc does not enjoy being picked up - quite possibly …
Meet Keno Keno is an 8 year old flat coated retriever mix available for adoption through the St. Louis Senior Dog Project. Keno is sure a happy boy these days! He was found as a stray dog in St. Charles County on October 2012. He was taken to a shelter and he spent a few months there, he is now with the St. Louis Senior Dog Project and thriving in a foster home and very happy to have a temporary home. Marcie is the sweetest little, senior Shih Tzu weighting in at around 9 lbs!  She is approx. 8-12 years old, but has lots of love to give for some one who will open their heart and home to her. Meet Francis Francis is a beautiful 8-year-old (only 48 years old in human years) Westie (West Highland white terrier) who came from a breeding facility. Even before you meet Doodles, one look at that silly face and you can tell that her funny name goes along with a silly face and an equal funny personality! Buddy is a 4-year-old border collie available for adoption through the St. Louis Senior Dog Project. Buddy is a very active dog with strong herding instincts, at his former home this pooch was herding chickens and we can just say that there was no happy ending for the chickens! His former family was not able to handle all the instincts that are natural to a border collie and this in turn became a dangerous situation for Buddy. At his former place he tried to "herd" a passing car resulting in a serious injury that made him loose his back right leg. This injury has not slowed Buddy down and he …
Meet Tammy Tammy is a sweet 4-year-old dachshund girl available for adoption through Senior Dogs 4 Seniors. Tammy loves to cuddle up next to you on the couch. She also will lay in a basket of blankets and be snuggly warm in a little ball. She walks well on the leash and eats all of her dinner every day. Meet Lucy Lu Lucy Lu is a senior bichon frise available for adoption through the St. Louis Senior Dog Project. Lucy Lu is on the hunt for the perfect retirement home, her main requirements are a nice warm bed and someone to cuddle with. Lucy Lu came to our group in pain. This poor gal had a huge bladder stone that made her miserable. In Rex's former life he was an outside dog and when he came to the St. Louis Senior Dog Project he was very matted so he is now sporting the short hair look for a while because his hair had to be shaved.
