For residents of the Kirkwood-Webster Groves communities, Westborough Country Club seems to have always been there, and except for a couple rounds of renovations — one in the 90s and another in 2009, the grounds remain essentially the way they were more than a century ago when it opened under the name Westwood Country Club. Today, the Club offers a more playable golf course, clay tennis courts, swimming center, fitness center, new dining room and expanded youth and family programs. Golf operations are run by PGA professional Jimmy Bals.
