In the modern Western world, good health care and nutrition have greatly increased our length of days. In addition, the Bible describes old age as a gift from God. How did culture begin to shift our thinking about aging? How are aging issues affecting your family life right now? And how will aging impact us personally in the future, physically, socially and spiritually?
During January we will explore the historical, practical and spiritual considerations on the related issues of ageism, ethics and advance directives, family life, and the spirituality of maturation.
