Westchester Elementary Project Playground Committee is hosting a celebration for the opening of the all-inclusive playground.The committee is celebrating the completion of the new accessible playground. The new playground is inclusive for all children. New surfaces and equipment were installed to allow all children to navigate the playground and play together.
Order of Events:
Family Fitness Walk 4-5 p.m.
Playground Celebration 5 p.m.
Welcome Kirkwood School District officials
Introductions Dr. Chris Clay, principal
Speakers Project Playground Committee Chairs and PTO president
Ice Cream Social 6-8 p.m.

More About Westchester Elementary School
Westchester Elementary School has been serving the Kirkwood community for over 50 years. The school occupies approximately 10 acres. It has two recently remodeled playgrounds and a wildlife center. Inside, it has 29 classrooms, two gymnasiums, a library, cafeteria and rooms for music and art.
