St. Louis-based Social Media Tool Givver Is Helping to Feed the Hungry During the Oklahoma Disaster

Today many across the U.S. and the world grieve for those impacted by the devastating tornadoes in Oklahoma. The damage, reminscent of Joplin, is immense, and the loss of life is severe. The nation now begins to reach out to help those touched by this disaster by sending teams, food, supplies and more.

Consistent with today's social media world, many followed the disaster as it unfolded not on television, but via Twitter -- a channel that can also serve as a medium through which anyone can contribute to the lives of the people in Oklahoma by making direct donations.

St. Louis-based Givver.com, a charitable fundraising tool, is partnering with Feeding America to accept donations via Twitter using Givver.
