Lutheran Schools in Des Peres, Kirkwood Begin New Year

Students at St. Paul's Lutheran in Des Peres and Christ Community Lutheran in Kirkwood and Webster Groves are celebrating the start of a new school year.

At CCLS, students filled hallways, classrooms and their school's chapel on their first day back.

St. Paul's students kicked off the new year with a Welcome Back picnic that featured food, games and a moving luminary display.

CCLS operates campuses in Kirkwood (grades 5-8) Webster Groves (K-4), Glendale and Crestwood (preschool only). www.ccls-stlouis.org

CCLS and St. Paul's are members of the St. Louis-based Lutheran Elementary School Association (LESA).
