MERAMEC VALLEY BANK HONORS FIRST RESPONDERS ON 9/11

Every year on the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Meramec Valley Bank recognizes first responders and honors the memory of those lost on that fateful day.  For the past 12 years, the bank has expressed its gratitude to local first responders by delivering box lunches.

Staff members provided lunch for local fire department and police personnel in Ellisville, Valley Park and Fenton, and delivered donuts to the St. Louis County Precinct in Valley Park.  The lunches were prepared by Meramec Valley Bank customers Callier’s Deli in Ballwin and Culvers in Fenton.

According to Meramec Valley Bank Senior Vice President Jim Jones, “It is important to remember the selfless work of the first responders in our community, and to show our appreciation for their commitment to protect and serve.  What better time to express our thanks than on the anniversary of 9/11 when first responders sacrificed so much of themselves.”
