This Is It - Decision Day

Good morning.  The poll workers are there making sure the ballots are in place, the machines are working, the stickers are ready, the voter rolls are in their spot by alphabetical order.  The candidates are getting ready to meet and greet you one more time, their committees are probably having one more cup of coffee and putting on a warm jacket to ask you to consider a vote for their candidate.  Yard signs are at every polling place and probably on your block.  Everything is in place.

Will you come?  Will you stop by on your way to work or school? After you drop off the kids or pick up  your morning latte? What about when you pick the kids up? After work? Will you come out and vote?

This election has several considerations that are important to you in this area - STLCC Trustee, Kirkwood School District Board Members, Prop P, and Ward Committeemen in Des Peres, Judges in Des Peres.  These are issues that have a direct and immediate impact on your life - right here, right now.

I hope you do.  Not only as a candidate do I hope you get out and vote, but as a fellow Kirkwoodian, a citizen of our region, I hope you make your voice heard with your ballot today.  It does matter, it is important, it is worth your time.
