'Biggest Loser' Auditions Coming to St. Louis

Auditions are being held Saturday at the Chesterfield Mall.

The Biggest Loser, a reality TV show that follows overweight contestants on their quest to lose weight, is holding open auditions in St. Louis this weekend.

Casting producers are seeking potential contestants for the show's 13th season who have at least 85 pounds to lose. The winner of The Biggest Loser wins $250,000.

They'll be at  from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13. You must be 18 years old (as of Sept. 16) and a U.S. citizen to apply.

The casting call will consist of group interview. The show's casting website states the show tries to see everyone who shows up to the call; if not, representatives will follow up with potential contestants.

Potential contestants should bring a nonreturnable recent photo of themselves and a pen to the casting call. There's no dress requirement; the website simply states, "Wear something that best represents you and that is comfortable as you will be waiting in line."

The show is hosting 13 open-casting calls across the country. Hopefuls are also encouraged to apply online.
