Adoptable Dogs Doodles and Sweet Potato Need Homes

Meet Doodles

Doodles is a french bulldog/shih tzu mix available for adoption through the St. Louis Senior Dog Project.

Even before you meet Doodles, one look at that silly face and you can tell that her funny name goes along with a silly face and an equal funny personality!

Doodles started out a bit shy around her foster family but has not acclimated well and is happy to be looking for a forever home. She has a quiet side and an active side. She enjoys hanging out and snuggling with humans but she also enjoys a nice walk and outside time. Doodles is an eager walker and her and her future humans would benefit from walking her with a harness or halti lead.

Doodles would probably prefer to be in a home with only other smaller dogs but if there is a larger laid back dog she would probably be fine. She is also good with kids! Meet Sweet Potato

Sweet Potato is an adorable little senior, very friendly and playful.  She is approx. 8-1/2 years old and came to us from a breeding facility and is now ready to find her own forever family.   She loves to sleep by her foster mom at night and is doing great with her potty training.   Sweets is learning to enjoy treats and toys, and she also likes other dogs.  

Our mission is to place older dogs in the loving homes of older people in the St Louis area. We do, however, take in dogs of all ages and adopt to people of all ages. We do home visits and ask for a $200 adoption donation for adult dogs and $300 for puppies. 

We are at the Kirkwood Petco every Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm. This store is located on Lindbergh just north of I-44. Turn left at the first major stoplight.
