Bible Basics

We will review the basics of Bible literacy.Then, using basic Bible-reading tools,we'll consider the following:How can we become more familiar with scripture when we feel so behind in reading it?What does the Bible say about some of today's controversial issues,such as creation,sexuality,marriage,anti-semitism and money?How are we supposed to respond to others who make claims that don't fit with our own understanding?We'll be reading the book of Mark.Led by Kirkwood United Church of Christ's Pastor Betsy Happel.Childcare:call office 1 week prior to class.
