The library is thrilled to be involved with Kirkwood Rotary Club's first Rotary Ramble May 12. This certified 10k run, 5k run and 1-mile fun run/walk will benefit many area organizations, including Kirkwood Public Library.

Show your love for KPL by registering to run or walk and collect pledges that will benefit the library.  By choosing to run for KPL. Your pledges will support the library's endowment fund. This fund is used to enrich, but not replace traditional tax-based support and ensure that your library continues to meet the rapidly changing needs of our patrons by providing quality services, facilities, programs, information and outreach to our many patrons.  All races will start and finish at the , 111 South Geyer Road. The 5K and 10K start at 7:30 a.m. and the fun run/walk begins at 8 a.m. For more information contact klinenbroker@kirkwoodpubliclibrary.org or see/download the attached PDF.

Joy Jars

KPL is a collection site for donated stickers for Joy Jars for kids with cancer. Youth In Action, the group who sponsored the Christmas gift donation campaign, is organizing this program. A large plastic jar is on the counter downstairs at the children's desk. Patrons can donate stickers (stickers only, please) either single stickers or packs of sheets of stickers. Youth In Action will pick up the donated stickers weekly. Various locations around Kirkwood are collecting other small items. All donated items will be assembled into "Joy Jars" to be given to children with cancer. Collection will continue at KPL until April 30.
