If you know the theme song from Dora the Explorer by heart and find yourself humming it even during time without your kids, it may be time to get out of the house a little bit more.
The MOMS Club of Kirkwood is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping mothers achieve that very goal. Every month they have a Moms Night Out, plus other opportunities to meet new folks. Join in on helping with a charitable service project related to children or attend one of the seasonal parties, held a few times a year, that include crafts, games, activities and treats.
Bring the kids to participate in the MOMS Club children activities that help them learn various new skills, including socialization.

A stone's throw away, the offers what it calls Magic Lunches. Each month, a group of participants travel to a different restaurant to taste the location's offerings and to enjoy the company of new people.
