Have You Seen Hanley the Dog Sculpture at Kirkwood Train Station?

They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, but this new dog at the Kirkwood Train Station is doing something the Animal Protective Association has been doing for more than 90 years.

Hanley, the new dog sculpture at the Kirkwood Amtrak, is one of 20 sculptures popping up around St. Louis to benefit the APA. The sculptures will be auctioned off at the APA's 90th birthday event later this year, according to the APA's website.

Hanley, created by Harry Weber and crafted by local artist Mary Nasser, was installed at the train station July 3, according to a Webster-Kirkwood Times report. Another APA sculpture is also planned for the Kirkwood area.

What do you think? Have you seen Hanley or any of the other APA sculptures? What's your favorite piece of art about town? Tell us in the comments.
