Kirkwood-Webster Turkey Day Run Draws Thousands
Nearly 4,000 runners, joggers and walkers took to the streets as part of the annual Kirkwood-Webster Groves tradition.
Early Thanksgiving morning, thousands of runners, joggers and walkers met in downtown Kirkwood for an annual tradition—the Kirkwood-Webster Turkey Day Run.
The 29th annual run included 3- and 6-mile courses. Brackets were separated by age and gender, and first-, second- and third-place runners in each catagory received medals.
In the 3-mile run, Tim Cornell, of Columbia, MO, and Katie Sutton, of Kirkwood, were the first male and female runners to cross the finish line. In the 6-mile run, Ben Rosario, of St. Louis, and Nikki Dillard, of Bellaire, TX, were first male and female runners to cross the line.
