KPL Offers Free Classes and a Look at Life on the Oregon Trail

Learn How to Style Your Resume and More

The Kirkwood Public Library is presenting two programs this week featuring our online resources. On Thursday at 2 p.m., learn how to use the Optimal Resume database with our "Styling Your Resume" webinar. On Friday at 10 a.m., the library's reference staff is featuring  the first in it's series of "Searching for Reliable Health Information" and will provide instruction on searching for "Good Heart Health." Pioneer History With Fun Activities

The children's staff has been busy all week preparing for a big event this Saturday at 1:30 p.m., called "Pioneer Days." Barney Bradshaw from the Missouri History Museum will speak at 1:30 p.m. about life on the Oregon Trail. Following his talk we are offering fun and creative activities from pioneer life. Don't worry if you don't have a calico bonnet or a dusty pair of boots, all that is needed is a little imagination to enjoy the action on Saturday!
