Magic House Hosts St. Louis Blues Hockey Night

The Magic House is teaming up with the St. Louis Blues Friday, from 4-8 p.m. for a special hockey-themed Fitness Fun Friday. Sports fans can "skate" over to The Magic House to score some fitness points by participating in fun hockey activities that will focus on agility and basic skills.

The Blues' mascot Louie the Polar Bear will be on paw to cheer visitors on in their fitness goals. This Fitness Fun Friday is sure to be a real winner!

Sponsored by Centene Corporation, Fitness Fun Fridays take place on the first Friday evening of every month from 4-8 p.m. and feature a variety of fun health and fitness activities with different themes and partners each month. Fitness Fun Fridays give families the opportunity to play their way to a healthier lifestyle. Pedometers are available for visitors to track how many steps they take just playing in the museum. The answer is surprising!

Fitness Fun Fridays are free with museum admission but registration is required. Children who complete a Fitness Challenge on The Magic House's website receive free admissionto The Magic House for Fitness First Friday. To register or complete the fitness challenge, please visit The Magic House online at www.magichouse.org. The first 100 visitors to attend Fitness First Friday will receive a backpack filled with healthy goodies and take-home activities.
