Your Photo of the Week: Natural Wonder Lands in Kirkwood Backyard

Cecilia Henriksen Thurman, of Kirkwood, found a surprise but very welcomed guest in her backyard Jan. 7. Thurman was gracious enough to share a photo of the winged wonder on our Facebook page along with this post:

"I think there is some sort of quote that starts out, 'A wise old owl sat on an oak; The more he saw the less he spoke ... ' Well, that was sort of true for this one who sat in our backyard on Saturday afternoon ... not on an oak but nevertheless ... ;-)
