About The Kirkwood High School Symphonic Orchestra: The Kirkwood High School Symphonic Orchestra has been invited to compete for the National Orchestra Cup in March 2013 at the prestigious Alice Tully Hall, located in Lincoln Center in New York City. The group will be performing along with approximately 10 orchestras from across the country for the title of Grand Champion and the Orchestra Cup trophy.

"This is an incredible honor for the Kirkwood orchestra," said Orchestra Director Patrick Jackson. "Orchestras are selected for this event; they cannot apply for it. We look forward to once again representing our community in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity." The Symphonic Orchestra performed at Carnegie Hall two years ago.For more info:  http://dev.kirkwoodschools.org/faculty/khsorchestra/live_at_lincoln_center/
