Webster University Film Series: Marwencol

"Marwencol" is a documentary about Mark Hogancamp, who survived a brutal beating that nearly killed him. Without money for therapy after he was discharged from the hospital, he created his own. He built a 1/6th scale World War II-era town in his backyard and filled it with dolls representing various people from his life, including his attackers. The film was shot over the course of four years by Jeff Malmberg.
