Moviegoers are invited to attend the 2012 Whitaker St. Louis Filmmaker Showcase for a special screening of "Casualties of the State," by Corner Film Productions, a local and independent St. Louis media production company on Saturday, July 8 at 6:15 p.m. at the Tivoli Theatre.
Filmed in St. Louis and Washington, D.C., “Casualties of the State” features Missouri and Illinois actors and crew. Key locations include The Old Post Office downtown and Kirkwood City Hall.
Cast and crew members will be available for discussion immediately following the screening. Casualties of the State is a story about Americans facing difficult choices when they discover that political elites are profiting from war at the expense of American lives.
