“It’s really collaborative,” Fitzpatrick said. “My good friend Melissa made the artwork, and my good friend Jordan helped make the insert to it.”

Fitzpatrick said Feeding the Birds is “something (he) can finally feel is a cohesive album that kind of tells a story.”

“It’s supposed to be about how you can change your perspective on life,” Fitzpatrick said. “The album kind of takes the theme of dwelling on the idea of death, in this case the death of my grandfather, then kind of being transformed by an event, in this case falling in love with somebody.”

Fitzpatrick says his next step is to try to get his work released by a label. This summer Tristan Jemsek of Dogbreth from Phoenix, AZ, and Fitzpatrick plan to record a split cassette tape and release it on Jemsek’s label. They’re shooting for an early fall release.

Feeding the Birds can be purchased from Fitzpatrick for $8-10 dollars. His older releases, as well as Sleeps In Sundays' and Ra Calium's music, can be found on bandcamp.
