  • Experience: BS/MS/Ph.D. in chemistry required, plus pharmaceutical industry experience. Applicants must have extensive hands-on experience with HPLC/UPLC and have demonstrated complex chromatographic problem- solving skills and method development/validation expertise with pharmaceuticals. Excellent oral and written English communication skills are required. Self-motivated, ability to multi-task effectively and to work in a cross functional business/technology team environment. Strong knowledge of regulatory issues and guidelines (FDA, EU, ICH, cGMP/GLP) is required.
  • Responsibilities: The candidate will be responsible for providing analytical support to other R&D groups and manufacturing operations. The main job responsibilities include: develop analytical methods for testing drug substances and drug products, primarily utilizing HPLC and UPLC; conducting and/or coordinating the validation and transfer of analytical methods to internal and external QC labs as required; isolating and identifying/ characterizing trace level impurities using prep-HPLC and LC/MS; and providing analytical support to other R&D groups and manufacturing site in analytical troubleshooting, problem-solving and special investigations.
