Permit Lifts Downtown Kirkwood Parking Restrictions

For $5, shoppers can purchase a permit that allows them to park in Downtown Kirkwood public lots for any amount of time on a given day.

Shoppers can now park in Downtown Kirkwood public lots all day with a new parking permit made available by the City of Kirkwood. Most off-street, public parking spaces in Downtown Kirkwood are free but have a two-hour time limit.

The new permit costs $5 and can be purchased at up to 30 days in advance.

A maximum of 50 permits will be sold for a given day and are valid for any off-street, hourly parking space in Downtown Kirkwood. Permits are not valid for on-street parking or private lots.

Individuals or businesses may purchase a maximum of 20 permits per day, to accommodate event parking, but 10 permits sold each day will be reserved for single sales.

The passes can be purchased at the Finance window at City Hall, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
