Powell Kalish with Crushed Red told Patch the restaurant would open Monday, serving up create-your-own salads, soups, pizzas and "shareables" (appetizers). Kalish said they will also serve beer and wine, and host happy hours.

Crushed Red will be open at 140 South Kirkwood Road Sunday-Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday-Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The space was formerly occupied by Pazzo's Pizza, closing its doors in January after about a year in business. Prior to Pazzo's, La Salsa and Johnny Rocket's also had a try at occupying the location neighboring Pickleman's.
