Eat a Cookie, Support Annie's Hope Bereavement Center in Kirkwood

How do you do it? Buy a cookie from now through Sunday from McAlister's Deli in Des Peres or Ballwin.

Here's how buying a cookie can help grieving children

McAlister's Deli stores in Des Peres and Ballwin will donate 25 cents from every cookie purchase to Annie's Hope: The Bereavement Center for Kids.

The center at the border of Webster Groves and Kirkwood, 1333 W. Lockwood, "provides comprehensive support services to children, teens and their families who are grieving the death of someone significant."

The offer started Monday and runs through Sunday.

Annie's Hope also posted this on its Facebook page: "St. Louis folks, visit McAlister's Deli in Des Peres or Ballwin.... For every cookie you buy, a donation will be made to ensure the programs of Annie's Hope keep serving grieving kids."
