Bar Louie Kitchen Reopens to Warm Welcome

The community turned out to support the grand reopening of Bar Louie's kitchen Thursday night. The restaurant continues the celebration with special deals on food and drinks.

Residents filled Bar Louie Thursday night for the restaurant's grand reopening celebration of its newly remodeled kitchen. Festivities included live music by the Falling Martins, sets by DJs and a free happy hour appetizer buffet.

Bar Louie's kitchen had been closed for the past two and a half weeks for remodeling. The need to remodel was due to mechanical failures, according to General Manager Andy Palmisano. (A video with photos from the project can be found at www.facebook.com/BarLouieKirkwood.)

"The restaurant definitely got full," Floor Manager Colin Fitzhenry said about Thursday's grand reopening celebration. "Everyone seemed really receptive to the changes we made to the place. We thought it went really well."
