Habitat for Humanity ReStore Opening in Des Peres
The store is the second location in the St. Louis area.
Habitat for Humanity's ReStore concept is moving forward with a second location in St. Louis, with plans for a grand opening celebration later this month.
The new Des Peres facility, located at 2117 Sams Drive, will have its grand opening July 20. ReStore has festivities lined up from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with food trucks and giveaways. Forest Park is home to another ReStore location in the area.
ReStore locations benefit Habitat for Humanity through sales of construction and home materials, including some decor items. A release from ReStore said most products in the 48,000-square foot shop are donated and reused, but it also offers new purchases.
