Habitat for Humanity ReStore's Grand Opening Saturday

The store offers building supplies and home materials to benefit Habitat for Humanity in St. Louis.

Habitat for Humanity's second ReStore location in St. Louis is set for grand opening festivities July 20.

The grand opening kicks off at 9 a.m. with food trucks and giveaways slated through 5 p.m. Regular store hours will be Wednesday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Des Peres facility is replacing a former Marble and Granite Worldwide warehouse at 2117 Sams Drive. ReStore General Manager Josh Vaughn said the Des Peres space is nearly double the size of Forest Park's, totaling roughly 48,000 square feet in comparison to 25,000. ReStore locations benefit Habitat for Humanity through sales of construction and home materials, including some decor items.
