Habitat for Humanity Looks to Fill Local Vacancy
Des Peres has granted permission for the nonprofit to open a "ReStore" behind Sam's Club.
Habitat for Humanity plans to make a home in Des Peres after the organization received a variance from the city's board of adjustment Wednesday night, according to KMOX.
KMOX reports that Habitat for Humanity St. Louis wants to open its second "ReStore" in the region. The store would be located behind the Des Peres Sam's Club and fill a vacancy that formerly housed a granite and marbel retailer. The re-store would sell new and used construction materials to the public with proceeds going toward the nonprofit.
