Taco Bell in Kirkwood Offering Free Tacos
The offer is only good Tuesday from 2-6 p.m. and is thanks to a stolen base by San Francisco Giants player Angel Pagan during the World Series.
Although the Cardinals didn't make it to the World Series, baseball has one last gift to give from the 2012 season: free tacos.
The giveaway is a result of the "Steal a Base, Steal a Taco" promotion by Taco Bell, which promised to give away free food if a base was stolen during the World Series. The San Francisco Giants' Angel Pagan did just that in Game 2, sliding into second base and effectively earning free tacos for most of the country.
To collect on the taco bonanza, head to a participating Taco Bell location from 2-6 p.m. Tuesday. Just try not to get too misty-eyed thinking about the St. Louis Cardinals dropping three games to the Giants and be thankful, at least, that something good come out of it.
