Beginning Oct. 7, participating restaurants and specialty food businesses will dish out discounts on food and beverages. Many restaurants are offering $20.12 or $2.12 specials. Others have created their own dining special. A complete list of the specials will appear on the Downtown Kirkwood website, but these examples should whet your appetite: Steak Davido with salad, side and tiramisu at Amici’s; a large one-topping pizza, small house salad and 6 piece toasted ravioli at Fortel’s Pizza; and at Ranoush you can select and appetizer, entrée and glass of wine or beer for only $20.12.  Many specialty stores will also offer discounts throughout the week following the $20.12 theme.

“Dine Downtown Kirkwood is a great way to showcase the wide variety of restaurants in downtown Kirkwood and to give diners the opportunity to sample several restaurants throughout the week at a very reasonable cost, said Mike Willerton, owner of Kirkwood Station Restaurant and Brewing Company located at 105 E. Jefferson.
