Rick Stream: Bringing People Together

I have known Rick Stream for about 25 years and am honored to call him my friend. One of the things that impress me most about Rick is his ability to bring people together that do not always agree. He has been endorsed by business groups (such as the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and the National Federation of Independent Business) as well as labor groups (including the Missouri National Education Association and the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees).  He has been endorsed by Republicans and Democrats. He is a Kirkwood High School graduate and has supporters that wear orange. Rick’s responsible leadership is what we need more of in government.

I am grateful that Missouri has a balanced budget, unlike the Federal Government, and that is in part due to Rick’s leadership as the Vice-Chairman of the House Budget Committee, where he worked with Republicans and Democrats to craft a responsible budget.  If reelected, Rick will be the budget chairman in the Missouri House and with his bipartisan leadership Missouri will continue to have responsible budgets.
