Funeral Mass to be Held for Man Killed by Train
A funeral mass for Kyle Atkins will be held at 10 a.m. today.
Friends and family will remember Kyle Atkins, 30, of Webster Groves, during a funeral mass scheduled for 10 a.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Manchester.
Atkins this past Friday after being struck by an Amtrak train on the Union Pacific track just east of North Gore Avenue in . Atkins is survived by his wife, Lisa Atkins, his son, Alexander "Alex" John Atkins, and a son due April 5.
Lisa Atkins teaches first grade at in Frontenac. Classes have been canceled for Oak Hill students today to allow all those to attend Atkins' funeral, according to the school's website.
