Glendale Tops Kirkwood on 'Best Places to Live' List
Coldwell Banker Real Estate released its annual 'Best Places to Live' list Tuesday. Glendale came in sixth on the list of best places to live in Missouri while Kirkwood came in eighth. Des Peres failed to make the Top 20.
Glendale is a better place to live in Missouri than Kirkwood, according to Coldwell Banker Real Estate's annual "Best Places to Live" list released Tuesday.
Coldwell Banker ranked Glendale as the sixth best place to live in Missouri and Kirkwood as the eighth best. Des Peres and Oakland failed to make the list of top 20 cities in the state.
Glendale has grown 2.2 percent since 2000 and boasts a high median income, $106,969. In comparison, Kirkwood has grown 1 percent since 2000 and has a median household income of $72,113.

Both Kirkwood and Glendale ranked higher than Webster Groves which captured eleventh place on the list. Warson Woods edged out Glendale for fifth place.
