: "Congratulations to the Synergy Intermediate team who earned the Bronze medal in the Intermediate Division. This is the first National Medal that a Missouri team has ever earned! Way to go skaters & coaches! The first place team was the Fond Du Lac Blades out of WI, second place went to the Skyliners out of NY, third to St. Louis Synergy and fourth to team Del Sol out of Southern CA."

"C'mon people, this was always a public document. What's the big deal? Give it a rest already, the matter is done. Can council members please get back to governing? Thank you."

"They should make students that flunk a grade have to pay to retake the grade. That would make money and force parents to ensure their kids are doing the work to pass."

: "I know for a fact when Kirkwood has severe weather move into the area knocking down trees and power line, the dispatchers receive approximately 300 calls per hour. Keep in mind, Kirkwood has its own Electric Company and the police and fire dispatchers answers their phones after hours. They also answer the Kirkwood Water Department and Street Departments phones after hours. Their are a lot of questions unanswered about who would answer all of these other departments phone lines as well as dispatching for the these three departments and the Kirkwood Park Rangers. Kirkwood is a unique small town with a lot of family ties and our dispatchers are just as much family as our Council is."

— Jim Cox, Kirkwood-Webster Groves Patch.

"Why so many DWIs? That's really troubling. . .people need to get it together and not endanger others and themselves."
